Yes well, we all know your thoughts on Giant :)

There is nothing special about them. Giant can hang lots of expensive stuff off their frames at a low price, but the frames are pretty average. I've owned three Giant's BTW, and they are good value for money, but there are better bikes out there.

Solution? Buy a Giant for the kit, throw the frame in the bin and buy a custom. :D.
What's lacking in a TCR frame?

They give you cancer?!! I thought it was only herpes. Who is your
source?

Giant bikes are the best, they must be because there are so many of them, that many people can't be wrong.

Actually i think all you guys that don't own Giant's should go out and buy one because in the long run you'll be doing yourself a favour.

Just imagine if Giant stopped selling bikes in Australia. Pricing would go through the roof. You wouldn't be able to afford an exotic, maybe a Huffy if you're lucky.

So next time you ride past a Giant owner, thank him for buying a Giant.

Yeah... and don't forget the McDonalds eaters. Imagine the price of food
if it wasn't for them!

I have a Giant Trance 1 and I think it's the best bike in the whole world.

Jealousy?

OK. Even with a smiley, this has pushed the joke a little far. We've got enough car drivers around trying to kill us to have this turn into a cyclist vs cyclist discussion.

Oooooo I could pull you up on being done by a reverse troll... but unfortunately I was serious. I try to keep things in perspective of the intended humor, but being involved in a few 'cyclist vs x' incidents lately my funny bone has been fractured :(

Now you have to bring religion into the discussion.

Shame on you.

Sorry .... I thought about that after I wrote. it... I do apologise for that :(

Oh yeah right and I found it hilarious being hit by a car and having my bike and myself almost totalled and what did I get out of it apart from me having to buy a new bike because they had no insurance and my insurance screwed me over and the other person declared bankruptcy oh and not too mention I virtually have to come to stop everytime and car is going to cross the road in front me now adays.

So I can't say things like that buts its ok for you to say things like this "Giant bike has murdered your family, raped your dog"

We're a bit off course now, but that is a fair call. My 'extreme case' example was out of line (but is technically off limits, it was in another thread!!! :) )
