Okay... I'm looking for an entry level MTB to ride around the house, campgrounds, lite trail/state park use, tow my son in a trailer and 7-14 miles street rides. This is my first MTB purchase and I have some very basic knowledge of road bikes and their components. I have zero knowledge of MTB components and how they compare to each other.
I’ve looked at a ’12 Giant Talon 29er (the link shows a ’11 Talon) and I have a friend pushing me to buy a Fezzari. I checked the Fezzari and saw they make only one 29er and it is way above my price range, $1000.00. I liked the Kings Peak even though its a 26in tire and wanted to get some input. I’d also like some input on the Talon or any other MTB that someone could point me towards. Thanks…Mantooth.
