And then, he can start talking how it was working in T-Mobile and how it's working in Astana... Or he'll wait couple of years to do so.TheDarkLord said:If Kloden leaves Astana, my guess is that he will retire.
Anyway, he's great insider.

But he needs more than what that 1 second lead would get him to survive through the ITT. You know JB has Contador totally set to be superior to all others (except maybe LL) in the ITT, even the specialists.TheDarkLord said:5 sec would be a big deal to Ricco as he would then be in the pink jersey.
Yeah.. agreed... however IMHO...hawkeye87 said:But he needs more than what that 1 second lead would get him to survive through the ITT. You know JB has Contador totally set to be superior to all others (except maybe LL) in the ITT, even the specialists.
Powerful Pete said:Ricco and Di Luca would do anything to wear the jersey going into the final stage. Whether they then win in the last TT is another matter.
Cranky, I can tell you that as for Sella, he is in the dog house here after Ricco's statements. Expect him to attack early today on a suicide mission...
If I were you, I'd save the bragging for tomorrow.musette said:Yeahhhhhhh! AC is going to win it
See told ya that's what she'd say. The cult is nothing if not predictable.musette said:Haaah Haaah. AC is going to win it!
And I love the way AC has won it too.
"But back to Bert's [AC's] maturation. He has waited and watched, timing his strategic moves. He took advantage of his climbing prowess by gaining time in the TT, forcing his competitors to ramp up the pace while he sat on their wheels. The very difficult trio of stages 14-16 play right into this tactic." Chris Brewer, Astana website.

You really have no clue, do you?musette said:After AC wins the Giro, that puts more pressure for the Tour to invite Astana. Esp if LL wins the Dauphine Libere or Kloden wins the Tour de Suisse.
It would make a farce of this year's Tour if AC would win the Vuelta 08, after having won Tour 07 and Giro 08, and could not participate in the Tour 08.
You really think the rational part of the brain is functioning in these people? How do you expect her to have a clue? She will only keep repeating the gibberish posted by the other brainwashed clueless people.earth_dweller said:You really have no clue, do you?
What is happening of Giro is proving that Contador were doped last year on TDF. So it's more better to ban the Disco and Astana boys!musette said:After AC wins the Giro, that puts more pressure for the Tour to invite Astana. Esp if LL wins the Dauphine Libere or Kloden wins the Tour de Suisse.

The problem is credibility. You can't run a sport and pretend credibilty when you pick and choose who the good and bad guys are. The problem is systemic and let's not forget Astana was not the only team that brought controversy to le tour last year. ASO is inconsitent the same way UCI crucified Ullrich while championing a "reformed" Basso.micron said:Contador just made Prudhomme's decision to ban Astana look entirely credible
We have covered this before. There is a lot of politics involved here. It is all to do with ASO vs UCI. Too bad that Astana got caught in it. The fact that they had issues for 2 years rather than just last year makes it more convenient for ASO.Klodifan said:The problem is credibility. Look, we arent going to get a clean sport here. So let them all ride.
