I am going clipless this winter (so I can practice on the trainer, in and out, etc...) Here is what my local lbs says: Lake CX120, for the shoe and a set of Look Keo Classic. Here's what I do:
25 - 45 mile rides, 3 -4 days a week when the weather gets better, mostly good bike trails or roads. I don't race. I do push myself hard and track my performance. This is my first set of pedal/shoes. I like the idea of the recessed cleat so I can walk around on my food exursions. Need some feedback. Thanks all.

Once you've gone clipless and get used to it you'll never go back...
Here's a good resource...

If you want a recessed cleat then MTB Shoes are the best...good for riding AND walking...

Thanks, I did read this a little while back and thought the trainer would be a better starting place to practice. These shoes are recessed, and will take a Look road pedal, that I've been told is a little better then the Shimano ( most MTB) systems for float and ease of getting in and out. Opinion?
