  1. I don't know if this has already been discussed but I thought it was
    interesting. Mainly discusses the level of bike usage in Melbourne.

    Strangely it says that the number of cyclists in the inner city has
    doubled since 1997 which directly contradicts the anti-helmet argument
    that says bike usage has declined since the introduction of helmets. Oh
    well, you get that!

    Good to see more cyclists anyway.

    Yeah if you take data out of context. Survey was between 1997 and 2003.
    Helmet compulsion was introduced in 1991.

    It's good that cycling is increasing. It would have been better if it
    hadn't declined by a third in 1991. Oh well, you get that.
