  1. I'll be in town from Fri to Sun, sans bike/car, staying in Pyrmont, are
there any good shops that I should check out, new/2nd hand whatever?

Mainly looking for any good deals on parts, as I won't be able to fly big
items back with me. A store like Bicycle Revolution would be great so I can
try to chase down those elusive Stronglight chainrings.

    Andrew.

Cheeky Monkey is always interesting. They have their original shop near
Central Station, look for the soup kitchen. They have a new store but
    not sure where

The guys at innercity cycles at Glebe are always nice and they have a
great workshop, which is where I get my bikes looked after. See their
    website for the location (innercitycycles.com.au).

Cheeky Monkey second store on Clovelly Road, Randwick North (very close
to Centennial Park). This shop specialises in road/triathlon bikes.

  5. Thanks guys, I'll check out CM and innercity cycles.

Now, if only there was a place like Bicycle Revolution?
