Good on Lance!

He could see the ground swell of doping in cycling and decided to
retire before he lost a tour to one of these dopers. ala Indurain to
RIIS.
Natural clean talent can only hold off cheats like Basso, Ullrich,
Vino, Beloki, etc for so long. He knew one day he would finally lose.
He got out with his integrity before having to stoop to cheating. Like

I haven't had milk spill out my nose like that in a very long time.

I have a tendency to think that Lance was cleaner than the others. No
evidence, just a feeling.

Oh, come on, the one rider we know was - legally and justifiably - on
performance enhancing drugs. No, he didn't take them illegally. He
didn't /have/ to. No testicle, therefore hormone replacement therapy.
All nice and clean and above board.

Lesson to all you young 'uns out there: if you want to succeed in
cycling, lose a bollock.

Rather than drop one like just about everyone else who should have
been in the TdF this year?

At this rate it might be worth tagging along on a sit-up-and-beg with
a can of Tizer,a jam buttie and a banana for sustenance as come the
finish line there won't be a single Pro rider left.

Are you saying one teste couldn't produce all the hormones he needed?

Did Headstrong look or act, in your opinion, like someone on half rations
of testosterone?

It's "testis" -- Larin plural testes -- but the substance of your post is
correct in its understanding of the situation.

What makes you think he didn't act that way pre-cancer?

Pre-cancer, he presumably had at least normal levels of naturally
produced testosterone.
