I usually buy off UK websites ProBikeKit or Wiggle but with the US dollar falling I figure I should try the US shops, are there any online shops that you would recommend ?

I used to use Nashbar a lot. Until they had their system hacked, compromised my credit card #, and didn't bother telling me until 6 months after they knew about it. To atone, they sent me a 20% off coupon, which was no better than getting a sale catalog. It expired before I needed to buy any bike stuff. I haven't bought anything from them since. Too bad. I was a 20+ year customer.

Yes it is. Supergo.com was also bought by Performance; and now if you go to Supergo.com, you will end up at PerformanceBike's web site. But Nashbar has traditionally catered to a slightly different demographic, and apparently still retains its own administration even though the parent company is the same.

Have checked out your suggestions and interestingly the English sites are cheaper, they are consistently less for stuff like components and consumables and the big kicker is free freight. I'm looking for a new Dura Ace rear cassette/chain and some tires and the difference is 25% and then add freight.
Thanks for the input.

There's a lot of good on line companies, in addition to the ones listed above that everyone lists, there is JensonUSA, who prices a lot of the time on various items at various times beats Nashbar. There's also Price Point, there prices are similar to JensonUSA and sometimes lower but be careful because the return policy is such that whatever you send back must be "original unused/uninstalled condition". There's also NigaraCycle who carries some hard to find at good prices like Nitto; and you can do searches on Amazon.com. And then there's the odd duck called Bonktown, with this place you have to check everyday because their sales involve one item dirt cheap per day...weird, but for someone with diligence and patience it could pay off big time, they do have auto alerts in the form of a toolbar.

There are plenty much cheaper much JensonUSA. Check out http://www.bikepartscompare.com for price comparisons.

What's the different demographic beetwen Nashbar and Performance?? I usually buy UK, or at least EU, but have always heard that Nashbar just offers a higher standard. I was recomended to go to Nashbar because I wanted to buy one of these

http://www.amazon.com/Bicycle-Saddle-Memory-Mountain-Equipment/dp/B00KBMK15Q

It's bike saddle with a memory foam cover, apparently great for mountain biking. Sounded pretty neat to me, but I couldn't find any on the Nashbar site, or Performance for that matter. SInce I have memory foam mattresses on my bed from http://www.zenbedrooms.com/
I have fallen hard for the stuff (excuse the pun ...). They are getting more and more widely known though so maybe more shops will be stocking them soon.
