U
I am writing to let you know about two races in New York this spring.
On Saturday, March 19 the Columbia University Cycling Team and Century
Road Club Association are holding the Grant's Tomb Criterium in
Manhattan. There are fields for USAC pro-1-2, women 1-2-3-4, cat 3-4
as well as collegiate women A and B, and men A, B, C and D.
Visit http://www.columbia.edu/cu/cycling/2005_GT_Flyer.htm for details.
There is reserved parking for racers just north of the course. See
flier for details.
This is a really great course -- here are some photos from recent
years:

Registration is also open for CRCA's Bear Mountain Spring Classic in
Harriman State Park in New York on Saturday, April 30. The event has
fields for USAC pro-1-2, cat 3, cat 4, women 1-2-3, women 4, masters
40+ (cat 1-4 only); the first three juniors in the cat 3 and cat 4
races will be recognized with medals. The cat 4 race is full with a
waiting list available.
The Harriman course is one of the country's most scenic road courses
and tremendously satisfying to race on.
Visit http://www.crca.net/races05/harriman.htm to register online and
for more information.
Please note that this date is earlier than usual, on the last Saturday
in April. The next day is the Hollenbeck's Spring Classic in Virgil,
New York, and the following weekend is Jiminy Peak.
I hope to see you at the races.
