    A siginificant component of "fitness" is being at your target weight. To get to that end:

    Eliminate the "mindless" eating...you know, those times where you're just tossing something in your mouth because there doesn't appear to be anything better to do at the moment.

    Appetizers (prior to an entree) are silly - mindless eating again.
    Eating while at the movies is mindless eating as most folks go to movies after having dinner.
    I'm a sucker for dessert, but it's mindless eating just the same.
    Determine if you're really hungry or if your blood sugar is just low. If your blood sugar is low, try eating one or two hard pieces of candy to get you past that little hunger pang.

    Just of few of my observations, take them for what they're worth to you...
