Concerning the recent developments with "Helicopter" Ben's Federal Reserve bailing out Bear-Stearns, and the state of the economy to come - try to wrap your brain around this: http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article19531.htm

---------------------------------

Let this be a lesson to every ****wad broker, trader, lender, banker, securities specialist, executive and politician that have polluted the airwaves for the past 25 years, *****ing ad nauseum about "communistic" ideas of regulation, whining in their bogus hair weaves about "socialist" ideas like free health care for all, and lauding the "trickle down" horseshit espoused by that ****ing imbecile Reagan.

EVERY GODDAMNED DAY we've been treated to the "gift" of the unrestrained "free market" as jobs go to hell and are shipped offshore, people lose their homes and these candy ass wannabes are right now down on their knees BEGGING the government, BEGGING each other, and PLEADING for someone to take away the impending loss of billions of the dollars that they invented out of thin ****ing air.

And these same rotten to the core bastards are sitting there JUSTIFYING direct government intervention in the affairs of the free market. Would someone please take me to the college of "What The **** Is THAT"? However, some of us already know that capitalism will survive because socialism will always be used to save it.

I sincerely hope that every prospective voter is seeing this, and seeing that NONE of these prima donna third rate actors masquerading as candidates has a ****ing CLUE as to what to do about it. That's because any candidate that even brought up the subject was eliminated from consideration.

I hope the entire system crashes, and when we start over, maybe we'll have NO human rights for corporations, a total protectionist economic policy that forbids sending jobs overseas, and NO central bank that can play games with the currency. It's either backed by gold or it doesn't exist. The stock market should be dismantled and everyone of those lazy bastards should come out into the economy they created and start flipping burgers.

I don't think I can say it any better than you just did. Our country is being ransacked. Unfortunately, when it implodes, the robber barons, politicians, oil men, Wall Street hotshots, and the Feds that did this to us, will have amassed enough of our stolen wealth to live high and dry in their villas on some exotic Riviera. And when the dust settles, they'll just come back to pick over whatever is left of our country's carcass. I realize that that is a whole lot of hyperbole, but there's a heap'n help'n of truth in it.

I'd suggest that you look into Gerald Celente of the Trends Research Institute. This guy has nailed everything that has happened since the subprime hoax first surfaced, and predicted it 2 years before it happened. According to him, we're headed into something that will make The Great Depression look like a picnic because the thieves that caused this used their lobbying power to remove all of the safety nets that were put into place to prevent that from happening again. The special interests and globalists have won, and we lost. If you don't have half your nest egg in gold and Euros then you're gonna be in trouble.

The numbers the Feds produce are completely bogus, and not by mistake. Unemployment and inflation are actually double what they publicize, and it's because every 10 years or so they change the formulas used to calculate them in order to paint a rosy picture of our economy at our expense, and also in order to drive down interest rates of traditional modes of saving, like CDs. They've intentionally forced American workers to put their life savings into the stock market (via 401Ks and such), which itself is propped up with almost $20 trillion in federal, public, and private debt combined. All of these rigged solutions they keep coming up with are nothing but bailouts for their Wall Street buddies and foreign investors (Japan, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc.). For instance, Japan alone has over $40 billion invested in Fannie Mac/Mae).

The solution to this problem was staring us in the face during the Republican primaries, but people are too ignorant to get out of the lesser of two evils trap that the politicians intentionally foist upon us.

I can't speak for the world, but greed trumps everything in this country. Watching CNBC lately (morons like Kudlow) is a laugh a minute.

What people need to realize is that we (average working Americans) have been taught to be patriots and to have love of country since we were children. But, the people who are doing this to us don't give a rat's ass about you, me, or America. They care about money and only money. It doesn't matter how much they have, it will never be enough for these people. A billion, not enough. 10 billion, not enough. Not until they have cleaned us out of every penny will they be satisfied, and then they'll just move someplace else. Unfortunately, these people run our govt and our media through cronyism, palm greasing, and backroom deals. Look at the people that Bush put into place when he "took over". They're all people that were working in the Nixon and Reagan administrations. Look for them to deflect our attention away from the economy by starting another war, likely with Iran (which will be another unmitigated disaster), and you can book it!

There are so many people, (and many on this forum) that won't let the simple facts penetrate their thick skulls, and even when they can no longer ignore reality, it won't be blamed on the real perps.

It is ironic to see someone ranting about corporate thieves when the ranter is himself a thief who stole a fork from someone online.

^ The only irony here is an ignorant rumor-peddler that has nothing better to do but pretend knowledge about an incident over some years ago.

Facts:

I sent Ed Ness (aka: "Nessism") 1/3 of the price initially, then he attempted online blackmail because I was late paying the balance BUT before he knew why. He had assumed I was trying to stiff him, but a HD crashed and I lost his address/contact info, nor did I know where else online he might be.

After I finally did find him, I offered to pay the balance or to give the item back without refunding my money - on condition of removing my name/address from wherever online he'd posted it - but his blackmail continued. Ed Ness was too consumed with rage over a measly $120. that he could easily have received.

Not long after Ed Ness' blackmail campaign began, 2 bikes were stolen from my garage and a bank acct. had to be closed because of illicit identity theft charges. Mere coincidence? I think not. At that point, I was also concerned for my child and S.O., but none of that mattered to Ed Ness and his seeking revenge.

If I'd still had his address etc. I would've plastered it across the net too, but Ed Ness wouldn't divulge HIS personal info in public like he freely gave out mine.

Ed Ness is a coward and a liar hiding behind his keyboard.

Therefore, he'll never get another cent from me. He was offered payment or the fork back and he refused. That's not theft, that's blind rage and stupidity.

So Bro Deal, know what you're talking about next time before you put your foot in your mouth.

Facts: yada yada yada
That is a rather creative interpretation of the facts.

Let me get this straight. Your story these days is that Ed Ness, who lives 4000 miles away from you, flew out to New York, stole two of your bikes, and hacked your bank account. You have no evidence of this, but, hey, the paranoid thoughts within your tinfoil hat are enough reason to stiff Ness. Oh, and Ness pointing out to people on bikeforums.net that you defrauded him is "blackmail."

The real facts:

My story "these days"?? Not one iota of my position on this has ever changed but you can obfuscate to your heart's content.

The only one who was/is paranoid is Ed Ness, thinking that I was out to screw him when it was a simple matter of inadvertently losing his contact info from a failed hard drive.

I've never said Ness stole our bikes or hacked our accts - that is YOUR fabrication. However, Ness posting my info on the net is enough to have caused what happened. Can I prove a cause & effect? Of course not, but it is not unreasonable to think so. One thing IS certain: we had lived here for several years at that time and never had a burglary or a problem with our bank acct's prior to Ness posting my name/address in public forums.

Interesting that Ness posted his disingenuous whine on RBR (the thread you linked), a site where he knew I couldn't respond due to an unrelated incident there well before that. Once I had learned of that thread, I posted my rebuttal under a new username but my posts were quickly deleted and the username blocked. I also did not know for months that he'd posted on bikeforums too, since I had seldom posted or visited there. I have given all of those relevant facts in great detail elsewhere and/or here on CF, including the exact dates of my few posts on BF, etc., etc. Do a search if you're so worried about it.

No one "defrauded" Ed Ness but himself. He was told of the situation and was offered solutions that should have been acceptable.

The bottom line is: Ed Ness chose to use blackmail out of his unchecked anger based on dead wrong assumptions. He also assumed that I would pay the balance under his continuing blackmail, and long after the damage had been done. You can disagree with my position, but guess what? Your opinion doesn't count for sh!t.

Beyond all of that, here are a few more facts for ya: #1: this topic is ancient history, #2: nothing will be changed by rehashing it, and #3: it is none of your concern anyway.

Now why don't you find something constructive to do??
#2: nothing will be changed by rehashing it,
Wrong. Thanks for the heads up BroDeal.

Thanks for the heads up Bro Deal. I don't understand how Art's email bounced if he only had a hard disk failure? And it seemed that if Art really wanted to get in touch with Ed Ness... it wasn't that difficult.

Oh and wurm. If you want all those things to happen in the US... you could emigrate to a more socialist European country.

Wurm, since you don'y have a clue, I'll give you one.

Fannie and Freddie were created after the federal gov't decided that the market wasn't being fair to the "poor" in its lending practices. So it created regulatory scheme which encouraged lending institutions to lend money to people who were not otherwise qualified, also helped create all these sub prime idiotic mortgages. Lenders don't care about the risk, because Fannie/Freddie agreed to buy all these loans, bunble them and sell them as securities allegedly backed by the Federal gov't. This regulatory scheme created a situation where lenders/realtors/appraisers, and every other person associated with these loans had the opportunity to make money without risk. Idiots bought houses to "flip" and made subprime loans and some idiots bought houses they could not afford because they could make the subprime mortgage payment for a few years and couldn't dump the house when the actually had to start paying the principal. Why someone would not lock in a historically low interest rate is puzzling, but caveat emptor. All of this also encouraged people to take out home equity loans and spend like crazy, this is what has kept our economy afloat since the last great transfer of wealth, the internet bust. Now, you will note that oil, gold and all other commodities are going through the roof, the money has to go somewhere. BTW, this "green" trend is another scam. Billions will be invested by private and public entities because the gov't is encouraging it, Al Gore and his green raiders will reap all the rewards and this too will bust, as it is a scam. The sky is not falling.

The government you want in control of everything, is run by the same corrupt individuals the you think run corporate America. The difference, corporate America doesn't have the power to incarcerate you or jail you for not paying your debt. The government does. Ask the victims of all the authoritarian governments of the 20th century. Millions murdered, genocide, ect.

Who was ever thrown in a gas chamber by Exxon or Walmart?

The government hearings on sub-prime mortgage crisis were particularly amusing. Everyone's getting blamed except the "do-gooders' in DC. It's like the Germans holding the Nuremberg trials. I wonder who's gonna get blamed for the carbon offsets scam.

If you tease them, they will come. :D

Remember in the 70's all these kooks were telling us that the ice age returning was inevitable. Then in the 80's the Oceans would be empty the year 2000.

When will America wake up and see that these environmental groups are just the Communist party in disguise and whose intent is to destroy our economy and way of life.

For example, the Kyoto treaty. We get condemned for not signing, yet China and India are exempt. The athletes in China are wearing masks, but the environmental whackos are silent in protest. Why? China is a socialist commie nation.
