Interestingly, LA's form returned towards the end of the Tour. If his problem was difficulty
recovering from hard training and the rigours of the tour, I'd expect his form to start out well,
and then fade as the tour went along. Does that make sense? If so, I suspect this year's closer
result may be due as much to his illness before the tour, and perhaps a lower ability to go all out
in extreme heat. His healthy form may not have deteriorated much at all.
