Thanks!
17 years of marriage as of 1st June. We went out for a meal and then went to
see a film. Plus I was given some rather nice pink roses (I had pink roses
in my wedding bouquet) and Vernon was given a rather nice bottle of red
fermented juice of grape which will no doubt be imbibed fairly soon.
Vernon never gets time off - marriage is a life sentence, innit ;-)

Congratulations, and thanks for reminding me that ours (15 years) is
coming up in a few days. I should be able to remember it as we got
married just 12 days before Mark was born. As Sue said on the day,
"It's a good job my mother's dead. She would die if she could see me
getting married looking like this."

Not for cyclists it isn't. My standard answer to 'how long have you been
married' is 27 years with 6 months off for good behaviour. Those 6 months
being a cycling trip I took on my own technically around the world but
mostly in SE Asia.
I'm not saying who was good though ;-)
