You're missing the point. Lots of guys can ride within their limits and
ride within themselves to victory..

Hardly anyone has 'descending speed' as a weapon and uses that speed as
an important component of a win.

I've descended to victory more than a few times. Of course, these
victories don't count for anything because it was during masters
racing. We were just engaging in a hobby.

Going fast downhill is a common skill in masters racing.
