No, and I have no idea where you even got such an idea. Aren't there people getting murdered in Chicago?
JTE83 said:Oh, my bike shop nicked my Cervelo when they put the BB in. But I have no choice but to use them because they're a CERVELO & Zipp dealer. They don't give many price breaks because they say margins are thin. So I was forced to get both my Cervelos and Zipps from ebay.
1. There is nothing special about working on a Cervelo. Anyone can do it, especially when you consider that you have no warranty claim on your frame since you bought it on eBay. Gee, I'm not a Moots dealer but I'm able to work on my Moots. Likewise, I'm not a Reynolds dealer and I'm able to work on my Reynolds wheels.
2. There is nothing special about working on Zipp wheels. They're freaking wheels, so?
3. Forced to go to eBay? What a joke. No one forced you to buy the bikes you have. You chose to do that. You chose to go to eBay. Get over it. Learn to deal and quit kvetching about it.

But I still use this place because they're the cheapest place to get a wheel trued - $12. Don't know if they'll still give me that now that they've seen my CF Soloist.
What a waste of $12. Truing wheels is dead simple. I mean, even people that aren't engineers can do it. Anyone with a computer and an internet connection could find all kinds of websites teaching how to true a wheel. Anyone with $30 or so could even buy a book that goes over wheel truing.
Sounds like you should learn to work on $23,000+ worth of bikes that you've amassed. Bicycle maintenance and repair is something that even 12 year olds can learn.
