Heart Rate monitor question

Once upon a time - like 20 years ago - I had a really cool Casio watch that had an optical sensor on it to measure your heart rate. No need for a chest strap. You just put your finger on it and it gave you your pulse.
Now I realize it's probably not as accurate as the ones with chest sensors and that's ok for me, but has anyone seen what I'm taking about that's still available? An HRM watch that doesn't use a chest strap?

thanks,
Tim

A friend of mine has something like what you're looking for from Speedo.

I've been using Polars with chest straps and it's never really been a bother. I guess one just gets used to it.

Hope this helps.
