  1. Heavenly Brownies

    1 cup sifted Flour 1 tsp. Baking Powder 12 Tbsp. unsweetened
    Cocoa Powder 1 cup Butter 2 cups Sugar 4 Eggs 1 cup chopped
    Nuts, Pecans or Walnuts 1 tsp. Vanilla

    Sift dry ingredients together. Melt butter and cocoa in
    medium to large saucepan. Add sugar, mixing well. Remove
    from heat, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each
    addition. Stir in nuts and sifted dry ingredients. Stir in
    Vanilla. Spread in 13x9x2" baking dish you have sprayed
    with non-stick coating. Bake on center rack position of
    oven in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do
    not overbake or they will be dry. Glaze right from oven.

    1-1/2 cups Confectioners Sugar 1 tsp. White Karo Syrup
    1/2 tsp. Vanilla

    Mix this together and add just enough milk to bring it to
    spreading consistency. Spread gently over hot brownies

    Yields 12 healthy sized Brownies
