Heckman coming to NBG Fest Mayor's Ride Burns Hotter: More Sponsors/More Riders

  1. - Andrew Heckman http://www.earth1.net/~jzaleski/AndrewHeckman2.htm, the man who nearly lost his
    life to an inattentive driver last summer while biking the Chicago to Des Moines link announced
    today that he plans to come down to Santa Cruz for the 2nd annual Santa Cruz NBG Fest on August
    17!! whoaa...

    - High Gear Bike http://highgearbike.com of Longmont CO just took on the Omaha to Boulder link at
    http://www.bikeroute.com/NationalMayorsRide and will be is bringing riders to Boulder CO 14 miles
    away after a send off party at their store. It is likely that a few Longmont politicos will be a
    part of the fun and may even do part of the High Gear ride!!

    - Valley Bikes of Carmel, IN signed on for the Columbus to Indianapolis link. They as well will be
    bringing riders to their proclamation city. And these guys are a blast. They got 40 bents out for
    July 4th Carmel Fest Parade. Total Riot. See the Movie!! It loads fast:

    - Out here close to home, long time NBG Supporter, A Bent 4 Rent http://abent4rent.com, took the
    Monterey to Santa Cruz link and will be bringing a large contingent of riders over from their
    ocean side city 45 miles away to the 2nd Annual NBG Fest!

    - Another long time NBG Sponsor, S& B recumbents http://home.pacbell.net/recumbnt, has been busy
    down in Southern Cal. They are now making the Malibu 2! 20 in. rear, 16 in frt., under the seat
    steering. Only 20 lbs. Delivery 7 days from time of order. Red only. $650. WoW!!
