The padding that keeps the helmet off of the top of my head is worn out. The helmet is in good shape though and I don't want to buy another one. I called the manufacture and they don't have replacement pads.

Does anyone have a solution for replacing the pads?

Foam and double sided tape from the arts/craft store should work fine.

The pads usually last the life of the helmet. If your helmet is 5 years old or older, you need to replace it. The styrofoam in the helmet deteriorates over time and five years is about all that it is good for before it has reached the point where it will not sufficiently protect you in a serious crash.

If the helmet is not 5 years or older, then the foam and double sided tape sounds like he best solution.
