I don't have any personal experience concerning the Selev helmet, but I do recommend the Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute website. Here's a link to the 2005 helmets:

I don't know where you are located, but it doesn't appear that the Selev brand is available in the US yet, because it hasn't been tested to CPSC standards. The website also shows that the Selev helmets have moderate to pronounced "rear snag points", which can injure your neck in a fall.

I'd look for a helmet with a more round design.

  3. I bought a Selev Matrix helmet about one year ago. I notice a crack in the front of the helmet going towards the top. I sent a email to Selev with a photo and there reply was don't wear it. This helmet had never been in any type of accident or even dropped. This will be the last SeIev helmet I buy.

  4. After reading an article in bicycling mag a while back about helmets I won't buy a helmet that isn't MIPS I need all the extra protection from brain damage I can get after multiple concussions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
