Howdy folks.

Using the .pdfs on the Campagnolo website, I see that the carbon fiber
Ergopower and seatpost came out for Record in 2000 and that the 10S
rear derailleur got the carbon fiber outer link in 2001 (9S in 2002).
They changed their .pdf picture style in 2003 and I can't really tell
(except for cranks) what happens after that.

I am trying to determine when Record went to the black link (is it
carbon fiber or just paint/anodizing?) and alloy cage on the front
derailleur (or is that just current Chorus), when the black calipers
came along and when the rear derailleur got the carbon fiber outer
pulley plate. Since Chorus typically gets the Record upgrades a year
later, the same info would be helpful. Google didn't really turn up
anything useful which surprised me.

Thanks, Doug

I dont think that its correct taht Chorus parts are downpassed Record
parts. The Record ergo levers, deralliur and calipers internal
titanium parts usualy don't make it to the Chorus line.

Carbon fiber Record Ergo levers started in the 1999 model year with 9
speed.

2004 was the year that the Record FD became a carbon cage and the RD
got a carbon cage. The FD for Chorus also became aluminum with
black...not carbon tho. Black calipers became the 'option' altho few
distributors imported silver ones.

Hasn't happened to Chorus for 2006, maybe for 2007, when Centaur gets
some carbon bits.
