  1. I'm working on fixing up a 1986 Trek 1500 aluminum frameset. This
    particular frameset came with a replaceable braze-on FRONT derrailler
    hanger. You can see a picture of the part here:

    While I could probably just use a clamp-on front derailleur or a
    clamp-on adapter for a braze-on, I'd really like to try to find a
    replacement hanger. I haven't had any luck locating one through LBS or
    by contacting TREK directly.

    So I thought I'd throw it out there on the newsgroup and see if
    anybody's got one laying around or perhaps would have a suggestion of a
    source for this part.

    The concept looks similar to the current Trek OCLV hanger, but I
    believe the OCLV has an offset seat tube so the angle might be
    different.

    If all else fails maybe you could try bending the OCLV bracket?
