  1. alright the first part of this is sort of a gimmick...i was talking with a friend about themed bikes (going for set colors, custom paint, overall themes like a saint patrick's day bike, halloween bike, and other random oddities) and was wondering about using white in a color combo.

chances of someone going through with this are nil, but i was wondering what all white parts are available. I know look has a set of white pedals, and quite a few seats and of course bar tape are options, but after that, what is there? (frames not included). i was thinking mainly like small things such as skewers, maybe a fork and other things. also, a main point is white wall tires. does any company make all white or atleast a tire with a white sidewall?

If anyone knows of the company with white carbon fiber, that info would be appreciated also. I found a british company a few weeks ago, but lost the name of hte company while moving some things in my computer room.

The second question i have regards wheels and component groups. for a person who the extra 10 grams really isn't a big deal (i'm way too muscular to worry about something so miniscule, atleast until i could drop 10 or more pounds of muscle off my upper body), what kind of groupsets should a person be looking at? ultegra? dura ace? veloce, chorus, or record? what's everyone's thoughts. also for me, what kind of wheelset should i look for, mainly for doing things like crits and road races.

    thanks

  2. Here in Aus we have a bike shop that specialises in white (and pink):http://www.riderschoice.com.au/

Edit: The contact details are on the location page: [email hidden]

On tyre size, wait and see what is available in white first. 😎
