Thinking about picking this up: Specialized M2 Pro Road Made in the USA

Thoughts or advice? Price look right? I'm currently riding a Trek MTB but do mostly paved path riding and am looking for something faster. I typically ride from 14-30 miles an outing, and on the current bike do that in 46 mins on the low miles and about an hour 50 on the longer trip.

Pass up the bike: it doesn't come with a front derailleur. Plus it's hard to see if the crankset is a double or a track crankset. If you're going to get a road bike, get one that has all of the parts. Besides, $650 is too much for that bike.

The single chainring may-or-may-not be an issue ...

The frame could be worth $200 ... maybe less, maybe more.

The wheels, another $100-to-$150 ...

The rest of the stuff probably doesn't equal $300.

$400+ may be a fair price for BOTH of you, or it could be a great price for you and a crappy price for the seller.
