[help] repaire a cracked aluminium frame

unless your time isn't very expensive, this is the type of thing thats cheaper to replace

In a word, NO!!!!

Welding a gusset in that area without heat treating the frame would probably make it more
likely to fail.

You do NOT want that top tube to fail while riding - park the bike.
