Help! Upgrade from Ultegra wheels to what?

This is my first post here so I would like to say hi! to everyone. On to my question.

I have an '05 Scattante CFR with full ultegra and I think it is time to upgrade my wheels. I currently have ultegra wheels and am looking for something more aero and hopefully lighter too.

Since this is my first road bike I am overwhelmed at the selection of wheels out there. I have looked at Mavic Krysiums and the like. My budget for the wheels is $500 to $700 and I'd prefer clinchers. What are you currently riding and what do you recommend? I weigh around 150lbs and ride mostly for recreation around 100 to 150 miles a week, with some hills involved.

You're a recreational rider with a little climbing. You have quite a good wheelset now. You have no compelling reason to "upgrade".

It's not about the bike. It's about the rider.

I agree with DMF. Your wheelset is fine. If you really just want something new and better then look at Mavic and Zipp
