Help anyone!!
I have Gary fisher Joshua w/rock shox coupe delux rear shock that has remote lock out or dampening(never worked so dont know which)It wasnt working real well, checked w/factory who said ,"anything over 3 years old throw away no parts available" GREAT! sounds expensive. So I took back end off shock rod and removed "needle"-quite a bit of nasty silver-grey oil came out...the question is, can I replace oil w/hudraulic jack oil? Should I use something specific? Is this sucker going to work when I re-fill and close it up? Does anyone repair these reasonably? If I have to replace this with something else ,what is a good replacement for a non-racer at 220 pounds heavy.
