Yep, what it says to me is that the only thing I value is me. It says I have
no respect for society, the rights of others, or commonly agreed upon social
boundaries.
It also says that him/her and friends are on a wannabe rebel trip, but don't
have the guts to stand up and fight for real change. They just want to talk the
talk, not walk the walk.

The other thing I missed was did anyone notice that when the thought of a real
confrontation happening came up the rebel immediately called on society's laws
that they claim to have no regard for to protect them.
Pretty sad IMO

But you probably take your cue from people like Michael Moore......

This thread is cracking me up! Where's Pappy when we need him? Blah, Blah,
Blah, Blah, Ok that was for Pappy.

Now Danny, I agree to a point, on both sides actually. I have a habit of
walking down the middle of the road. Remember the recreational part of RBR,
so since many post anonymously, it's entertainment. You don't have to take
them seriously and for those who like to get (fresh Dirt) they can't wait to
read Critters latest posts. I find his interesting and also amusing all the
mud slinging back and forth over it. Good RBR entertainment. If you guys
went back and read his posts, you would see that Critter has taken a ton of
**** from just about everybody. I mean he has been hammered repeatedly all
over the place, and even with all the black eyes and bloody noses he has
remained remarkably resilient. He is a (very) bold character and like him or
not he has kept RBR from being far from boring since he has been here. I
understand he is a very friendly person in the real world, but Usenet is
totally different, and he is on a mission to expose cheaters, so what would
you expect? A lot of people hate Henry too but I hear he is quite friendly
in person. As for the bandwidth, that's a non issue. The biggest issue is
posting 16 in a row. That causes other posts to scroll off the back, and the
indexing of that is grievous and I hate krill files. That's my biggest
complaint, not the dirt. As for the dirt, (bring it on! Critter)

Ok, back to Pappy,

Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah
Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah,
Blah, Blah
Blah :)

That's why I started taking Martial Arts after high school. For one I knew I
had to learn how to defend myself in real life when **** happens, and two, I
have to be ready to at least defend myself when my big mouth got me in
trouble. After I got my 2nd degree Black, I went back to cycling, neither of
which either generated any income but at least I could enjoy the scenery
while cycling in the Sierras! Cycling in the Sierra is better then any drugs
you guys can get!

Blah, Blah,!

No, no, I'm Crit Pro. But I'm not really a crit pro, so I thought my cover
was safe.

Oh, the regrets.

When it's all said and done, consider this? Critter wouldn't even be here if
he had to post all the dirt under his real name. Then weigh all the posts
were interesting, funny, amusing or more importantly those posts that were
actually quite good and had the inside dirt either way ahead of time or that
nobody knew about or were posting. Ask yourself how much more did that make
RBR more fun or interesting to you. If that outweighs Critter's antics, then
I don't see a problem with that. Remember the guy is getting hammered all
over the place, so he's not a saint. How could he possibly act like one?

Blah, Blah, For Pappy. :)

Honestly, I've been around this group for about 12 years.
This isn't my first "psuedoname".

Maybe some of us are managers or business owners, and
we can't afford to have our real name out in public,
for every little twit, former, disgruntled employee to "google",
and use against us by sending our posts to our bosses, or
worse yet, our prospective employers.

Or here's one for you. Personally, in my field, we job
hop about every two years. You don't think an HR manager
knows enough to Google when he/she is checking you
out? I do it to my bosses, an I expect that they do it
to me.

Hey, if you want to know who I really am, email me, I'll
even send you a pic. I'm not afraid to tell you. But,
I'm a nobody. So why should it matter to you who I "really" am?
So you can screw me over?

Face it. If you post on the Internet with your real name, then
YOU are the one jeopardizing your own reputation/career.
It's like leaving the keys in your car when you run into 7-11.

I agree with all of what you said. I know why he is anonymous. I am actually
amused by 90% of what he has to say it's when the attacks turn to personal
matters outside of bike racing and the general rbr stuff.
My question is where is the boundary, apparently most of rbr has less
problems with accusations of infidelity, and all kinds of other ****.
Especially in situations like racing where spouses/SOs are apart so much some
of this **** seems to get traction and cause problems.
That's where my only problem with him comes in.
Magilla is pretty damn amusing too. Brings to mind the phrase "Rebel without a
clue."

OK, I'll 'fess up. I'm Crit Pro. Think about it. How much difference
is there between a bitter, cynical has-been and a bitter, cynical
never-will-be?

I'd have made it big if not for all the dope those people that were
faster than me were soaking up. I sucked, but I sucked clean!

It's me. You can all chill out now.

I don't know. It's raining cats and dogs here, 1 1/2 inches in about 20
minutes. I'm stuck indoors and this thread is entertaining. I'm sure Critter
is being amused by it. Otherwise, I be out riding. I stopped using rain gear
on rainy days, since my last bout with Pnemonia. Nasty stuff!

I agree that was bad what happened to PedalChick. She was really getting
dragged through the mud, but she's remarkably resilient as well as you can
tell. That tapping stuff was over the top, as for Jeanson, wait for her tell
all book, probably to be releashed after she opens her Pub. Hey, theres your
cycling sports bar!

It's not "if you post" that matters, it's WHAT you post.
