Here is a link to good information about this topic:

  3. I purchased an HGH product advertised on a T.V. infomercial several years ago. I carefully followed
the instructions; one spoonful of powder mixed in juice in the morning, and the same at night.

After about one week, I awoke one morning EXTREMELY dizzy, EXTREMELY nauseus, the room spinning, a
"buzzing" sound in my ears, and my eyes bouncing back and forth, side-to-side uncontrollably!!
Within an hour I was in a hospital emergency room, then admitted for three days on I.V. fluids to
    flush my kidneys.

My doctor said I had, "A reaction to something in the product."

In addition to the proverbial "impurities" which alone can make one sick, almost all HGH amino-acid
    "cocktails" contain the amino-acid Glutamine.

Glutamine is converted to Glutamic Acid in the brain which triggers an INCREASE in the "firing" of
neurons in the brain, risking seizure-like symptoms!

Also, in large amounts Glutamine is dangerous as some reports indicate it can precipitate pre-mature
alzheimers and other types of neurological dysfunctions.

I later called the company and cancelled my order. Soon after, that particular product ceased being
advertised, only to be replaced by another HGH product now in capsule form.

I had a close call. Be carefull!!
