  1. Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm Jon and I managed to
lose around 40lbs three years ago, I lost the weight

through a combination of healthy eating and exercise. I've managed to
keep most of the weight off but I'd say I need to lose

about 10lbs right now - and I want to nip it in the bud before I end up
    back at square one!

I know I've only got a small goal compared to a lot of people but I
know that anything is achievable with enough motivation

and the right information! I'm here to find out what's new since I last
was serious about losing weight. But also to give and

receive support and advice from fellow weight-losers!

If there's anything you think I could help you with or anything you'd
like to ask me the please send me a message to [email hidden].

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Kind regards,

    Jonathan

  2. Hello - In December my sugar count was 300 and as of yesterday it was
    93. I went on a modified Atkins Diet - and it seems to work. For
breakfast I have a few cups of coffee with sweet and low, a small low
carb yoghurt and an Atkins milk shake - for lunch another milk shake
and maybe soup. For dinner grilled meat or fish and maybe a potato or
veggie. I cut out bread but on occasion I fell from grace and went on
a cookie binge. Since December I have lost about 30 pounds and
frankly I am not usually hungry. My doctor tells me not to follow
Atkins but is thrilled that my sugar is down and more importantly - I
am testing daily for the first time in my life and I have had diabetes
for 20 plus years. I am 61 years old and again - this is the only way
I know to lose weight and get my sugar down.

  3. Your doctor is an idiot.
