Older Santana Sovereign S Team Tandem-a high end model, performance oriented
tandem.
Size: 54cm (front)/52cm (rear) (C-C)
Steel frame and fork, Columbus tubing; all tubes are round except the oval
boom tube.
Full Shimano Dura-Ace 8 speed, with downtube shifters and cantilever brakes.
Gearing: 39x53, 12x24, 170mm cranks front and rear
Wheels: Mavic Open 4 CDs, 36H, 4x, 130mm rear, 28mm tires; wider tires will
fit fine.
Front stem is adjustable, rear stem is not, although bike comes with an
extra adjustable stoker stem.
Rear eyelets, no rack bosses, 4 sets of waterbottle bosses, no pump peg.
With a minor investment, you could upgrade this tandem to 9/10 speed STI and
be WAY ahead in comparison to a new tandem!
