Hello,
My name is Logan and I am working with my partner on a senior engineering project. For this project we need feedback regarding electric-assist bicycle usage to prove that our problem exists. In short, we are trying to design a more efficent electric bicycle and we would appreciate it if you would take our survey below.

Your looking for people who use electric bikes so you came on a cycling website?
Yes, there are electric bicycle sites. Perhaps a better source of information than here.
There are 2 issues relative to electric bicycles.
Hill climbing at speed takes a low of power. 25mph on the flat is about 400w. 25 mph on 7% hills is about 1200w. Components tend to melt on hills.
Range is short. 100-125 miles is not hard for a bicyclist. But it takes a lot of batteries for an electric bicycle.

People on the electric bicycle sites tend to build something that suits their needs or they adjust their needs to meet what they can afford and modify..
