Apparently T Mobile are on the hunt for someone who can finish second in a Spring classic.

Stapelton only gotta talk to a few folks and will know Hincapie is a big time doper.

Why does he want to replace Gontchar with Hincapie.

Why does Vaughters want Hincapie, Millar and Zabriskie. They all dope. They won't stop unless they have to. And I don't think they will have to if CSC cannot prevent Schleck and Cancellara and Ogrady from running whatever they are.

You're kidding, right?

How could you field a squad if you make anti-doping an issue?

Anti-doping is marketing PR dribble. Stapleton's silly Bio-Marker blood testing program cover story was a total sham, fully discredited---and we all know that now that his EPO/steroid doctors confessed and were sacked by T-Mobile and by their Hospital.

T-Moble has never raced clean and never will. It is not in the DNA to do so.

An elaborate sham if it is Doc, see below from today's cyclingnews.com. This guy could easily have won them a Giro and/or a Tour stage this year, so why sack him?
T-Mobile releases Honchar

T-Mobile Team has terminated its contract with Serhiy Honchar "for violations of the Team Code of Conduct," giving the 36 year-old rider his immediate release. The team announced in May that Honchar would be held out of racing due to irregularities in blood tests conducted during Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Tour of Romandie.

"This decision by the team management was based upon follow-up tests completed in early June and additional information gathered during his suspension," according to a press release.

Honchar is now "free to seek employment with another team or company."

General Manager Bob Stapleton did not give details. "We respect the rights to privacy of all parties involved and cannot release any further information at this time," said the American.

In 2006, his first year with T-Mobile, the Ukrainian wore the leader's jersey in the Giro d'Italia for two days, and won both time trials (stage 7 and stage 19) in the Tour de France, where he wore the leader's jersey for three days.

I think he meant, that if Honchar was 25 and his name Marcus Burghardt, perhaps they would have turned a blind eye to suspicious parameters.

The got rid of Jorg Ludewig last year remember. But were content to keep Rogers and Patrick Sinkewitz who worked with Ferrari. They kept all riders who had worked with Lothar Heinrich.

Honcahr was an expedient jettison. Remember they never wanted to resign him this year. There was almost a sentiment of blackmail, as Honchar could not find a contract equivalent of his worth, and he was a party to salvagin their Tour last year. And Honchar came with a huge cloud before he was signed. But they bought him anyway.

Not hardly. In cycling the doping cover ups are always amateurish and pathetic.

Honchar's dog might have appeared in the Puerto dossiers or perhaps he raped a team nurse.

Rumor was that happily married family man Roid Landis visited the T-Mobile tent for some action too.

There are endless reasons to sack a rider, doping NEVER being one of them.

What T Mobile tent? When?

I am not a naive L.A. believer, but I do believe Honchar's been booted for doping, or the very real risk he might bring a doping scandal to the team.

Some people think that because ML baseball has an anti-cork policy means that corked bats are never used in actual play. The facts do not support that belief---yet true fans believe it anyway.

Some people think that the Tax-Exempt NYSE is an efficient trading model devoid of self-dealing or conflict of interests. Or that its figure head, Richard Grasso was worth the $180 MILLION in severence pay when he quit. And the $10 MIILION in show-to-work-pay-bonus after 9-11.

Some people think Jan Ulrich never used steroids or blood doping.

So what!

The facts are these: T-Mobile & Bobby Stapleton have ZERO credibility. If you believe in him--terrific, just do not give him any of your money.

Just my opinion.

Free Tyler, Free Floyd

And why did Floyd Landis father-in-law die at age 57? Very odd timing.

Will Geoghegan, witness tampering, threats against GL posted by FL on DPF, death of a father-in-law, cheating, doping, lying. See any pattern here?

I love this ! (in bold) - its not like anyone will hire him now !

This isn't the first post where you've made reference to the death of FL's father-in-law in a way that vaguely suggests it was something other than an actual suicide. What are you proposing really happened? You show no reserve in expressing your opinion about any other topic - why are you suddenly coy about this one?

Floyd Landis TDF bio:

USPO alum
Armstrong tough guy
appeared to have won the 2006 TDF
celebrated with David Witt in Paris (father-in-law/training partner)
busted for doping post TV podium presentation
had his 'B sample' confirm the doping in early August
appeared on Larry King Live with a half dozen excuses for his testosterone (Jack Daniels, beer, poor lab work, cortisone leuteninzing, etc...)
had his father-in-law die of a gunshot wound to the head on August 16, 2006
appeared on REAL SPORTS with Bryant Gumbel and conceded his doping test may have been a contributing factor in David Witt's death
posted threats on doper apologist website against Greg Lemond
was in the room when Will Geoghegan threatened Greg Lemond via cellphone
switched his tie from YELLOW to BLACK when Greg Lemond testified

What conclusion can be drawn here?

That Floyd is a clean, honest, wholesome person with incredibly poor luck? Or that Floyd Landis embodies the finest qualities of Corinthian value in sport?

Dr Cuddy to the ICU stat. We have a Code Red on the run again.

Sort of like the pot calling the kettle black?

Nice apology for Roid's inescapable problems.

Gotta love those USPO alumni fans.
