Sierra Road proved to be a challenge Tuesday, but not a difference-maker. At the end of the 94.9-mile trek over East Bay hillsides that brought the Amgen Tour of California bicycle race into San Jose, George Hincapie sprinted across the finish line first. And that was despite what he called a less-than-stellar performance on the event's signature climb.
