The Marin County guys did not invent off-road biking. They invented the off-road biking
industry. What they did that others failed to do, was to see a market opportunity and created a
product to fill it.
Riding off road was done a long time ago. Convincing someone else to ride off road and then selling
them a bike to do it on, is what the Marin guys were the first to successfully do.
