holder/adapter for downtube shifers?

Anyone know of a source for these for bikes that have the cable guides instead of a threaded boss for a downtube shifter? Like a front derailleur clamp, or even something clever that's inserted into the guides that are already there.

SunRace makes an inexpensive clamp on shifter. Maybe the clamp could be adapted for your needs?

This is an interesting solution that puts a clamp on the drop bars to which you can attach the downtube style shifters

No such thing, and the lickbike sunrace calmpon only works with a standard size round downtube.

If you mean going the other way, there are retrofit cable stops in styles that either use the existing braze-on bosses or clamp-on.

Seems like the simplest thing would be to find something that plugs into the downtube cable guide, but then it'll need some lateral stability.
