  1. Hi

I've had Hope Mini's for about a year now and I've found them pretty good up until now. Recently the
back brake has started pumping up on relatively short downhills and it soon gets to the point where
the pads are permanently rubbing on the disc. As you can imagine they get pretty hot. I've tried
using the front as much as possible and feathering the back but it still happens on the back and the
    front is OK.

They never used to be this bad and I wondered if it was possible for the diaphragm to be faulty and
not allowing the fluid to expand.

Any advise on this problem would be gratefully received.

    Regards

    Andy

  2. I have a set of Magura's that developed a similar problem over time. What I eventually found that worked out was taking the wheel off to get the rotor out of the way and then over extending the pistons. It cleared out what ever was causing them to stick; everynow and then I repeat this to keep them worrking well. Try not to go to far otherwise you may lose a bit of fluid and have to bleed them. Which they need once in a while anyways.

    Eric
