I used to believe in him a lot. I read his first book in Barnes & Noble and I got probably every year of his Tour De France Win dvds. I used to believe he never cheated because he passed so many doping tests. But after he admitted doping and after I read this Kindle book [got it for $6.59] http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C1N92YY/ref=oh_d__o02_details_o02__i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I now believe he cheated. But after reading that Kindle book you almost can't blame him for cheating because so many other cyclist cheated too. I used to follow road bike racing but not anymore, but many of the big star riders cheated, like Tyler Hamilton, Ivan Basso, Alberto Contador, Juan Ullrich, Alexander Vinoukourov, and etc.

Just coming up with a lifetime ban on all sports for L.A. is too restrictive and too much punishment. I think the loss of his reputation, titles, sponsers, and all that money he sued for - they estimate he owes back $135 million! So how is he going to make a living anymore is he can't compete in anymore sport events? They're banning him from all types of bike, triathlon, running, and swimming events! And I probably guess he'll make no more money on appearances and speeches.

I guess he'll have to get rid of his Gulfstream private jet and fly economy class!

Have you heard of any news on how he will make a living? I think he's lost all celebrity status, but I'd take it easy on the guy because I admit he has a lot of athletic talent and he was a gifted athlete... He just went further by cheating.

I think he should just get a 4 year ban.

Who cares about how he makes a living from here on out? He created his problems, so he'll just have to find solutions. I have a lot more concern for the people whose lives Armstrong tried to ruin.

He can still compete in non-accredited sports events as far as I understand.

As to his financial situation, if he has invested wisely he ought to be secure for the rest of his life.

I am new to this forum but not new to the very issues L A was having ? FACT He has testicular cancer ! I do not ! FACT Yes he admitted to doping pre surgery ! I am 54 and I abused steroids in my 20 while in the USMC and felt I needed then ? There is a lot more knowledge in the safe use of these hormones he was taking ! LA had a condition known as LOWTESTOSTERONE , This condition is a currently and very recently researched more every day . This condition exist in most men over the age of 30 yes men who are reading this right now ! I have studued this topic for 1000's of hours and way to mant details to share in a post in a forum thread that is not mine feel free to pm me with questions I am not a Dr. but in fact many Dr. are ingornant to the condition and do not even know hoe to properly treat it or read the blood work !

I started TRT Proticall 13 mths ago and I am 100% disabled . Being honest with fctual hind sight i was sucidial ? Not thinking of biting a bullet just saw no reason to keep living ! LA had this same conditionand i would have told th IOC to FO this is my life and my health and the condition i have is a serious nedical condition and if they are to dumb to have knowledge to these fact take the trophies and medals and shove them up their ARS !

I highly recommend any male over the age of 30 to have to blood work done and their hormonal level read because it is almost a fact of life that by the age of 50 you need extra Testosterone to be at your natural normal level ? I feel like a million dollars ax free and I am 54 starting back to school and riding my bike 20 miles a day and my goal is to use it for primary transportation in fair weather

So men have your Test levels checked and if you do not hve a knowledgable MD the sponsor on this ver forum is / are specialist and one of the most professional clinics in the USA and the most reasonable at $199.00 a mth as I stated there is way to much to go into but their number is posted when they scroll across the screen and they script you everything you need not just 1/2 arsed like many Dr, They prescribe HCG , Testosteroe Cypionate and an estrogen blocker if need be and the $199.00 is to good to be true ! This includes a phycial , nutritionist, a workout program. 24/7 hot line for questions and 2 or 3 BW's a year they are not juice pushers they are specialist that treat me with low T and get then balanced and ther program is for 12 mths and for more details call them and Mikee or Justin will inform you and answer any questions you have ! This is not a spam message this is a happy 54 year old man that swear by having balanced hormones and be careful your wife may leave you when you have the drive of a 25 year old young man and no more couch potato ! I have even stopped drinking beer ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I know you are thinking why would I want to do that well PM me and I will send u=you pics of a 54 year old man that the preacher came up to me this moring and asked me if I had a new hobby body building ? Fact and I eat 7 times a day an was ingesting 3000 calories a day and loosing 5 to 7 lbs a mth ! Since I started bike riding I have had to increase my calorie intake !

So men Call as soo as you can and taste the fountain of youth !. I say poor Lance to have to be shamed due to ingornant public and stupid people who like any drug have abused what he needed to be a real man with energy and an errection and to have a sound mental state of mind ! I swear by the treatment and he should not have to appoligize to anyone ! He had a medical condition treated by a Dr, and told the truth ! IF and I say IF he was being treated properly and ethicly he was not doping he was being balanced and brought back to hs normal amle hormonal balance ! Did nothing wrong morally but he did break the rules ! of the IOC !

No doubt he broke the rules ! BUT THE RULES ARE STUPID ! THEY ARE SAYING A MAN UNDER A DR CARE BEING TREATED FOR AS MEDICAL CONDITION CAN:T COMPETE IS STUPID !
The post by the following DA is proof of his lack of information on Low T and I would not have jumped through all the hoops of the IOC Low T can effect men as young as 20 so unless you have he medical records you are talking out your AH ? Does you ASS ever get jealous of the **** that you spew from all parts of your stupid body ! You are ignorant to Low T ! FACT Besides that you are a POS !
Oh by the way DA loosing your balls and the cancer that precided it are medical therpudic use for IM shots of Testosterone Cypionate and there are reasons a lot less than loosing your ball which is the testosterone producing part of the male Endo that produces testosterone ! Go BS about something else you have read and have no factual knowledge about !
Which it is plain you do not have any balls so you would qualify for Test injection but you would rather live a looser life and like in bicycle world on a forum and try to impress people with your knowledge that you fail miserably at you are a unic have no balls or spine ! It must be really dificult for you to ride a bike or do you really even ride one ? I doubt you even work up a sweat ! All you do is play cyber bike man and bug people on the internet ! I have blocked all your post so I don't see them besides the first few words and even those show what a DA you are ! You don't even own a bike you are just a cyber dreamer in your own mind and you don't matter and I don't mind so that means ? I don't mind that you don't matter ! You are just a cyber liar with a little bit of knowledge about nothing important ! HEY AND I DON'T HAVE TO SPELL CORRECTLY BECAUSE WHAT I HAVE TO SAY PEOPLE LIKE TO TRY TO READ AND SPELLING IS WAY OVER RATED MOST SUPER INTELLEGENT PEOPLE ARE AWFUL AT SPELLING SO i INTRODUCE MY SMART ASS TO YOU BOY WITH NO BALLS 1

Fact: Lance Armstrong never had a valid Therapeutic Use Exemption from the UCI for testosterone use. His team did backdate a prescription for a cream (containing testosterone) for the "treatment" of a saddle sore. That means that Lance Armstrong was not being treated for low testosterone levels. Moreover, he has admitted to using EPO, human growth hormone, cortisone, testosterone, and other medications to gain a performance advantage over his competitors. So that's another bucketful of nails in Lance Armstrong's low testosterone coffin. He not only broke the UCI rules, he also, unlike BuzzardMarine's claims, did so immorally. As always, it's better to seek medical advice from actual doctors than to rely on forum spam or internet advertisements. Oh, and Lance Armstrong is still a cheating douchebag.

I don't care what LA did Bicycleing is a game not a sport and yes ball cancer would cause you to have Low T ! You have read some books but fail to gaim knowledge or wisdom ! I woud never try to explain to a DA like you why I am on Low T treatment one because you would more than likely say do it naturally and go eat a pine cone . But riding a bike is a joy to the hear and a healthy life style and if a shot of Test will improve that alng with omprove my medical condition ! I bet alenat would be the 1st one in line when he catches aids because this is also treatment for HIV pacients !

Feel free to find the TUE that Armstrong surely had if he was using testosterone for low testosterone levels. The fact is, however, he never had a TUE which meant he wasn't allowed to use testosterone of any sort. As mentioned earlier, he did get a back dated prescription for a testosterone cream for allegedly the treatment of saddle sores in one particular Tour de France. He did not get a TUE for that cream. If Armstrong had been undergoing treatments for low testosterone while cycling, he would have applied for a TUE since every professional cyclist knows that the only way to legally use medications banned by the UCI is to have a TUE for said use. Also note that Armstrong isn't a douchebag because of his doping. Doping has long been a factor in professional cycling. Rather, Armstrong is a douchebag because of his treatment of others, his use of threats, intimidation, and law suits to shut people up. That treatment of people has been well documented. You might want to read up on it.

In my opinion he took drugs, he cheated, so gets everything he deserved. Anyone caught drug taking should be banned for life, no exceptions. If you cant win without drugs then find another sport.

The UCI appears to be taking a step in that direction with the new 4 year ban for doping. A 4 year ban would likely be a career ender for most riders.

I don't care if Lance doped! why? Because it's been estimated that roughly 90% of the entire peloton doped at that time period! And the crazy thing is, UCI knew it was happening and did nothing to stop others. What's really weird, and allowed, is team vans parked at strategic race points along the route, and cyclists would ride up to the van go inside for about a minute and come back out without anyone asking questions as to why that was going on? What was going on was doping.

The reason that Lance got hammered on this was because the French and the Europe was ****** off that a damn American kept winning their sweetheart race, a race that is historically theirs and not America's, and the French don't like Americans, had Lance kept the wins down to a lower number like one or maybe two they would have looked the other way, but not 7 and embarrass the French. Sure UCI wanted a new continent to be in the game because of increased revenue, but not have that continent, and especially America, to keep winning their race.

UCI turned the other way because of sponsors, sponsors were advertising expensive carbon fiber bikes and other products that needed to be sold to a wider market, and to make those products appear faster than products of old doping was allowed to keep the products looking like they were faster, and speed sells in this and the auto industry, thus combining shorter courses over the years and doping it appeared as if technology was to blame for the increase in speed. In reality the average TDF speeds have not increased significantly since 1962 when it was 37+ kilometers per hour, today it's 39+, but in 1962 the TDF total distance was 4,274 miles but in 2016 it's only 3,519 miles, so even with modern technology, doping, and decreasing the total mileage the race is probably even from the old steel bikes with their non aero wheels of the early 60's till today.
