How long do you use a 'quick link'?

On my 9sp system I am on 7 or so chains, maybe 2yrs, on this quick link/master link and was thinking maybe its time to replace?

What do you usually do?

Every time you replace the chain, you should replace the breakable link, or else you will be accelerating sprocket and chain wear as the link wears.
