If you don't use it (your bike, everyday or every other day), how long till you lose it (your muscle tone, etc.)?
Say that during the winter months you go a few weeks without setting butt on your bike (aka "training" for those of you who are a wee bit more technical about these things than I).
Anyone have an idea of how long it takes for muscle to degenerate? And is it easier to get it back than it was to make it in the first place, or vice-versa?
Actually did hop back on after a couple weeks off and did 30Km no problem, but I haven't been biking like I was a few months ago.
How do you get through the winter months roughly intact if you don't do much riding in cold weather and have no room for equipment (rollers, etc.) in your home?
