How many miles?

9500 miles, or so. Been a good year. Looking forward to this year, where I'll probably ride more.

Started in July and finished with ~2400 miles (very close estimate).

just over 10,000 miles in 2006.
The Gulf coast of Florida allows this.

I ended up at 3300 miles this year.

Came in just under my goal of 23,000 miles. Maybe next year.

That's almost 500 miles/week AVERAGE!

23,000 miles?!?!?!:eek: :eek: :eek: Are you sure you didn't accidentally stick an engine on your bike? I don't even think some people drive that distance in one seasone. Congratz though, you should be proud. (If it's true).

How far to pro's ride ?

About 5000 miles in 2006. This includes 2 tours, commuting year-round, and a lot of local rides.

Never! Here in NYC it's been an unseasonably warm winter, so I've maintained a 100 mile/week average from mid-2006 through today.

Yearend total for calendar 2006 (started riding in April, but didn't start seriously tracking mileage until June) was about 3300 miles.

i started riding last may on a huffy mountain bike. 2 more bikes later, i've logged about 2500 miles. i hope to do a lot more this year.

5,109 miles

Only about 200 miles, but another 20+ hours on my trainer, though this was all between Feb and August of 06 for tri, no real riding since!

My total milage for 2006 was 5,700 well down on my usual 8, to 9,000 miles, as I didn't race this year and the weather was [censored].

Did my first ride of this year today, 76 miles. Suffered the bonk in the last 10 miles and now I'm as stiff as a board, how can three weeks of the bike set one back so far :eek: 😕 🙁 😠

It was my first year and I logged about 1500 miles on my Fuji.

Me; 6,786 miles.

Went for my first ride of the year last week. It was 25 degrees fareignheit outside. Getting back on was a little rough, but went well. People were looking at me like I was ridiculous. I'm alright with it though, considering it seems like I am the only one who owns a bike in this place. 😄

To live in a climate where it is possible to get as low as 25 degrees F is in itself - ridiculous.
