It is becoming more and more difficult to get slick tyres in a knobbly market. There is a marketing
difficulty with them as people instinctively believe that they cannot grip in the wet.

After years of research the Green Tyre Company of Cork Ireland have come up with yes....

A tyre (tire to Americans) Razor!

This piece of high-tech equipment, which is not cheap (costs 180 Euro) uses a combination of lasers,
hot irons and grinding wheels to turn your cheapo knobblies into ultraslicks. A side benefit is that
knobblies are dirt cheap.

Alas, the web site is unavailable . . . was this perhaps a comemoration of April 1?
