    Hi folks,

    Just bought a Soubitez C161 rear light (looks like
    http://www.sjscycles.co.uk//images/products/soulitezmudguardlight535_xl.jpg).
    It looks like there are two latches to attach a cable to. One inside the
    cover, which I guess is supposed to embody the connection to the dynamo
    (i.e. attach cable coming from dynamo). The second latch is _outside_ the
    case (very top of photo). What is that good for?

    P.S. What is Soubitez? A (French?) manufacturar? Then, why doesn't Google
    know about any corporate website for Soubitez?

    The earth wire, probably. Earthing through the frame is unreliable and
    many people prefer to explicitly wire up earth connections.
