Is there a way to make computrainer 3D courses from Google Maps? I thought there used to be a freeware Course Creator that one could use to make .3dc files from a route planned on Google Maps.
Other than buying RacerMate's Topo USA Course Creator software, is there a free and easy way?
I looked last year and did not find any free converter.
In the end I bought Real3D from Trainingpeaks and I use bikeroutetoaster.com (which uses google maps) to draw the routes. I don`t clearly remmember what the problem was but the one from Racermate did not convert some types of gpx or tcx file ...so it could not convert files from bikeroutetoaster
Both Computrainer 3D and Real3d are a bit clunky and old but it works. I can draw a route an have it running in 3D in 2-3 minutes.
Great! I actually have a copy of Real3D from when sold by Intellicoach, so it will all work nicely for me.
