I have a blue Colnago with blue bar tape, and blue Conti tires on anodized red rims... I get a lot of compliments. I am building up an orange-red frame and thought of doing the same... but looking at yours it seems a bit much. Maybe you (and I) would be better going with a contrasting color for the bar tape (red? black?) and having plain black tires? By the way, for fun, check out a color-wheel on Google. That will give you some idea of what would compliment, or nicely contrast the orange.
