Just curious (to see how hard you ride on your daily conmute)... What's your mean HR (absolute or relative to Max Heart Rate) while conmuting?
What's your aproximate time, average speed
and average inclines (steep and length) you encounter?

Just trying to get a feel of what do you mean by a conmute ride heheh

(Not so many cyclist in my ride to work... actually none)

Well, here's my data: 29 yo, average: 138 BPM mean HR,
5.3 kms, 18 minutes, Avg speed: Around 18 km/h
(full of stoplights all the way). I ride a MTB with Maxxis 1.5 tires. Inclines: mostly flat, but around 1 km 5-8% up and around other km 5-8% down

Share your data!! :))

Thanks dudes

Average HR 143bpm (max 190bpm) = 75% MHR
Average speed 27.5km

The route I take most often is about 25km and takes me around 48-52 minutes on a road bike. It's generally flat (tending downhill to work, uphill on the way home), with the odd 3-6% climb that last anything from 200m to 1km

I think I go a fair bit harder on my commutes than most. Having a shower at the other end helps, it doesn't matter if you get sweaty :)
