1. Ok, so a while back I purchased the Polar CS200cad HRM/computer with cadence sensor. It is a great product, and I highly recommend it to all who cycle. However, somehow I managed to lose the wearlink HRM chest strap, and needed to buy a new one online. I've had the strap for a little over two weeks now, and it won't register on the CS200cad computer! Previously a small blinking heart icon would appear if I stepped within 4-5 feet of the unit while wearing the strap, but now nothing happens at all. Do I need to program the computer again for the new wearlink strap or what? It says nothing about this in the owner's manual. Any help would be great!

  2. They should work right out of the box. I'm on my 5th polar monitor, and they all seem to work together. If you change from using one coded transmitter to another coded transmittor, I've had them not working right away, but switching the reciever (watch, cycle computer) on and off close to the transmitter cures this.

You're sure, that you got proper contact between the electrodes and your skin? I lick the transmitter before I put it on.
