it will fit, people have been doing it for years. its real close though,
thats why i like the 3.0 Arrow wide byte. it has slightly better
clearance.

Only time I've had any issue with tightness of fit is when riding
serious mud, and even then, my problem wasn't so much with the
tire/frame clearance, it was with the brake/rim.
