Hi

I was checking some pictures and rumours on the web that both Shimano and Sram are allready producing prototypes of cyclocross disk brakes which have the hydraulic mechanisms housed in the hoods.

Do you know if those are sold anywhere? Have you seen any adverts of them?

Thanks. /img/vbsmilies/smilies/smile.gif

too bad i just shelled out a ton of cash on this season's mechanical brakes. I these new horns are di2 compatible.

Uhm, prototypes aren't sold to the public and don't have a price. Given that Shimano and SRAM are big companies, with large marketing departments that aren't shy about promoting their products, you can safely assume that you'll know when Shimano, SRAM, and even Campy hydraulic road systems are slated for release. Road brifters = cx brifters.
