Over the years I've noticed that I someimes get a round dark bruise about an inch across on my quads after a hard session. It's never sore, only happens once every few weeks and goes away after a few days. It can appear anywhere from around the knee to up by my hips. Seems to always be on the front of my leg and either leg. Anyone else have anything weird that they just ignore (but deep down probably fear they are dying in a Dr Hutch kind of way for the Cycling Weekly readers)?

Is it possible you are banging your leg(s) with your elbow(s) while riding? That would explain a small round bruise and the location.

:D My bike fit is a bit better than that. It wouldn't explain the variety of places I get the bruises.
